- Cleanse the wound by debriding and rinsing with a saline solution.
- Apply the powder evenly over the wound surface.
- For heavily draining wounds, cover with a dressing and replace as needed.
- For wounds with minimal drainage, use a secondary non-absorbent dressing if required, and replace as necessary.
- If a dressing adheres to the wound, irrigate with saline solution to gently loosen it before removal.
